Specialty coffee, breakfast, a corner to work… 10 cafés in Casablanca. Checked one by one.
Casablanca drinks its coffee everywhere, but not the same way everywhere. There's house-roasted coffee, the morning flat white, breakfast served into the evening and the 11 pm sweet treat. We kept ten places people come to for exactly that. Racine and Maârif have plenty of coffee shops, around rue Molière and Urban Square. Gauthier has an Australian café open since 2015. Mers Sultan has its matcha spot. Casa Finance City and Californie bet on the bakery-café from 7 am.
Budgets stay reasonable: at Maison Alexis, an espresso is 28 DH and the first breakfast set is 55 DH. At Les Frères Gourmets, breakfast starts at 70 DH. Hours, prices and addresses come from the websites, Instagram accounts and Google listings we checked in October 2026. When two sources disagree on hours, we tell you. A call before you set off avoids unpleasant surprises.
Updated October 2026.
How we chose these places
We started from the cafés and coffee shops listed on SAM.ma in Casablanca. We read customer reviews, went through the menus, websites and Instagram accounts, and kept a single address per brand. This isn't a ranking: we wanted a mix of styles and budgets.
Nothing is made up. If we couldn't check a price or opening hours, we left it out. Google ratings date from October 2026 and the photos come from the SAM.ma listings.

On rue Sebou, in Gauthier, Bondi has been serving coffee since 2015. It says so in its Instagram bio, with a clear promise: the classics of Australian cafés, in Casablanca. The Arrival Guides guide notes that the place is run by a Moroccan-Australian couple and works with organic, fair-trade products. The décor follows: raw wood, white brick, a whole wall covered in drawings and a glass-fronted room looking onto the street. People come in the morning for coffee and eggs, and stay for lunch. In August 2026, a recipe account filmed a bowl with a poached egg there. The hours given on Instagram are 9 am to 9 pm, every day. The SAM.ma listing shows an earlier closing time, so it doesn't hurt to check before going late in the day.
