Sushi, Thai, Korean… 8 Asian restaurants in Tangier, checked one by one before we recommend them to you.
In Tangier, Asian food often starts with a sushi platter. Most of the places picked here make it their mainstay. But the menus go well beyond Japan. Pho and nems made by a chef with Vietnamese roots. Thai woks, coconut milk curries, gyozas, noodle bowls. And, at one of them, a ramen soup.
As for neighbourhoods, first there's the city centre: place Mozart, rue Allal Ben Abdellah, place Brahim Roudani, rue d'Algésiras. Then avenue Youssef Ibn Tachfine, near the marina, and avenue Mohammed VI, which runs along the bay towards Malabata. Prefer to eat at home? Several of these restaurants are on Glovo, and one takes orders on its own website. Here are eight places chosen from the sam.ma listings, with online menu prices where they exist. Google ratings were checked in September 2026.
Updated September 2026.
How we chose these places
We started from the Asian restaurants listed on SAM.ma in Tangier. We read customer reviews, went through menus, websites and Instagram accounts, and kept only one address per brand. This isn't a ranking: we wanted a mix of styles and budgets.
Nothing is made up. If we couldn't verify a price or opening hours, we left it out. Google ratings date from September 2026 and the photos come from SAM.ma listings.
