Viennoiseries, macarons, cakes for big occasions… 9 pastry shops in Rabat. Checked one by one.
Cornes de gazelle for Eid, a layer cake for a birthday, a Sunday morning croissant: in Rabat, every neighbourhood has its pastry shop. We kept ten places where sweet things are truly the heart of the business. Agdal for cake design and petits fours. Hay Riad and Mahaj Riad for tea rooms open late. Souissi for a French patisserie and the flagship shop of a brand born in 1985. Hassan for a bakery that says it has existed since 1928. And Qbibat for Moroccan sweets delivered to your door.
Most take orders: birthday cakes, platters for receptions, wedding pieces. Almost none display their prices online, so ask for a quote before deciding. The information comes from websites, Instagram accounts and the press, consulted in October 2026. Google ratings date from September 2026.

How we chose these places
We started from the pastry shops listed on SAM.ma in Rabat. We read customer reviews, went through the menus, websites and Instagram accounts, and kept a single location per brand. This isn't a ranking: we wanted a range of styles and budgets.
Nothing is made up. If we couldn't check a price or opening hours, we left it out. Google ratings date from October 2026 and the photos come from the SAM.ma listings.
