A Cuban-style villa, brunch from 105 DH and a Mediterranean menu at lunch and dinner: we went to Gran Cuba, in Val d'Anfa.
A new brunch in Casablanca, in a Cuban-style villa? We went to see. Gran Cuba has opened its doors on boulevard Driss Slaoui, in Val d'Anfa, and has just launched its brunch. Suffice to say, we didn't hold back.

Glass roofs that let the daylight in, woodwork, foliage, a patio with blue tiles and a terrace that lights up in the evening. The decor has a touch of Havana, but it's Casablanca you're in.
Five sets to choose from. The Paris gourmand (105 DH) with eggs your way, a pastry, French toast and cold cuts. The Griego (110 DH), a Greek version with pita, tzatziki and guacamole. The El gringo (125 DH), American-style with eggs Benedict and sausages. The Ligero (145 DH) for those who want to keep it light. And the Gran Cuba (175 DH), the most complete: Cuban-style eggs, fruit bowl, cold cuts, cheeses and pastries.
In the morning, there are also breakfasts from 45 DH, toasts and French toast.

Gran Cuba also welcomes you for lunch and dinner, with a Mediterranean menu with Spanish touches. To start, tortilla española, croquetas or pil-pil prawns. Among the signatures: Havana-style ceviche (140 DH) and dry-aged rib of beef (350 DH). From the sea, chargrilled octopus (190 DH).

Keep an eye on their programme: there are often events at Gran Cuba. Brunch with friends, lunch, dinner: you have a new place to try in Val d'Anfa.
The villa, the brunch, the plates: it's all in the video. Watch it on SAM.ma, or on YouTube.
