Spaghetti ice cream, tartufo and 100% natural pistachio: we went to Gelad'oro, in Oasis, an artisan ice cream parlour that claims more than 25 years in the trade.
Are you more of a classic cone, spaghetti ice or tartufo person? At Gelad'oro, in Oasis, you won't have to choose just once. We went.
Gelad'oro is an ice cream parlour specialising in artisan gelato. The brand highlights more than 25 years of know-how, expertise gained in Germany and raw ingredients imported from Italy.

Around twenty classic flavours, and it's often the simplest ones that go first. The pistachio and hazelnut are billed as 100% natural. Alongside, more indulgent flavours: Ferrero Rocher, speculoos, tiramisu, salted butter caramel, amarena yoghurt.
The sorbets follow the fruit: mango, peach, raspberry, melon, passion fruit. And for those watching their sugar, there are stevia ice creams in chocolate, vanilla and hazelnut.
Prices are clear:
These are the two creations worth the trip. The classic spaghetti ice combines vanilla ice cream, strawberry coulis, white chocolate and whipped cream. Expect 55 DH. For little ones, the Bambini spaghetti ice is 42 DH.
The tartufo is a big filled ball of ice cream with a crunchy coating. The Tartufo pistacchio, with pistachio cream, is the most expensive at 85 DH. The bianco and the nero are 69 DH.
The indulgent sundaes range from 65 to 74 DH: banana split, amarena, Oreo, or Le rêve de coco with Raffaello and Bounty.
A nice surprise: Gelad'oro also serves breakfast. Express sets from 35 to 55 DH, a traditional breakfast at 65 DH with eggs with khlii, harcha and msemen. The brunch pans are 89 DH, and the Asian brunch with smoked salmon 99 DH.
For the afternoon, there are also crêpes (from 30 to 60 DH), bubble waffles and milkshakes at 45 DH.
The menu thinks of the little ones. The Pinocchio, at 38 DH, combines two scoops of vanilla and strawberry, whipped cream and strawberry sauce. The Bambini crêpe with Nutella and chocolate sprinkles is 39 DH. And the plain bubble waffle, with caster sugar, at 25 DH, is the cheapest snack on the menu.
To drink, smoothies are 45 DH, and the Gelad'oro smoothie, served with a scoop of ice cream of your choice, 55 DH. The Coffee shock, with vanilla ice cream, mocha and cold coffee, will please parents in need of a pick-me-up.
A modern setting, a fairly quiet room and parking, which matters in Oasis. People come for a family break, an afternoon treat with friends or a dessert for two after dinner.
For evenings at home, you can leave with ice cream assortments to share. Delivery is also available through Glovo.
