Primo Passo in Bouskoura: our review of this Italian restaurant

Wood-fired pizzas, truffle pasta and a terrace on the Promenade du Golf: here's the lowdown on Primo Passo, the Italian spot in Bouskoura's Ville Verte.

In Bouskoura, on the Ville Verte's Promenade du Golf, Primo Passo is one of the places we recommend when people ask us for “a nice Italian near Casa”. We've shot two videos there, for the Ramadan ftour in 2025 and then 2026.

Here's what you need to know.

The pizzas, the reason to go

They come out of the wood-fired oven, and the menu has about twenty. The Margherita, tomato sauce, fior di latte mozzarella and basil, is 70 DH. It's the right benchmark to judge by.

If you feel like treating yourself, the premium pizzas climb quickly:

Pasta, risottos and fish

Pasta starts at 70 DH with spaghetti pomodoro. Our tip: the spaghetti alle vongole (130 DH) or the tagliatelle al tartufo (150 DH). The Amalfi seafood risotto is 125 DH.

For those who want something other than pasta, there's scaloppine alla milanese (125 DH), Sicilian-style swordfish (135 DH) or caciucco, a fish and seafood stew at 180 DH. The fish of the day depends on the catch.

And save room for the tiramisù (55 DH) or the small pizza with Nutella, mascarpone, walnuts and banana (55 DH).

Ramadan ftour

Primo Passo is also known for its all-you-can-eat ftour buffet. During Ramadan 2026, it was 380 DH, the same price as in 2025. On the menu: Italian and Moroccan food, fresh pasta, pizzas, grills, sfenj made on the spot, tajines, seafood, then unlimited homemade ice cream, tiramisu and carrot cake.

The dining room can hold up to 250 people, and booking was strongly recommended. Handy for families, groups and company ftours. We'll talk about it again before next Ramadan.

To start the meal

The antipasti are worth a look. The caprese is 65 DH, the burrata served with rocket and cherry tomatoes 130 DH. The vitello tonnato, slow-cooked veal with tuna sauce, is 95 DH. The melanzane alla parmigiana, baked aubergines, are 75 DH.

And since the restaurant opens at 8 am, Primo Passo can also be a go-to for a coffee or a quiet weekday lunch in the Ville Verte.

The atmosphere

A cosy, modern dining room, and above all a leafy terrace with a view, which makes all the difference on sunny days. People come with family at the weekend, with friends for lunch, or as a group.

On Google, Primo Passo shows 4.1 out of 5 from 1,188 reviews (checked in September 2026).
