85 DH for half a braised chicken, with a side and the homemade green sauce. That's the dish that has made Le Petit Braisé's name in Marrakech since 2018. The brand has just opened a new location in Chrifiya, on the route du Barrage. It's the fourth. We went to take a closer look.
Slow-braised chicken
The principle doesn't change. The chicken is marinated for several hours with house spices, then slow-braised to order. The result: crisp, golden skin and tender, juicy meat. Half chicken, thighs or drumsticks, you choose the cut.
- 1/2 braised chicken: 85 DH.
- Braised thigh: 65 DH, or 85 DH for two.
- Drumsticks, 3 pieces: 50 DH.
The fun is in building your plate. Fragrant rice, alloco, homemade fries or pasta, your choice. And the homemade sauces, with the green sauce you shouldn't miss.
Not just braised chicken
Coming as a group and not everyone wants the same thing? The menu goes well beyond braised chicken.
- Mains: chicken in cream, tomato sauce or green sauce at 75 DH, chicken carbonara at 79 DH, creamy rice at 75 DH.
- Escalopes: mushroom sauce at 89 DH, goat's cheese and honey, saltimbocca, homemade cordon bleu or gratinéed skewers at 95 DH.
- Bowls: the Krousty Bowl at 75 DH, with tenders, rice, cheese sauce, nem sauce and soy. The Pilon Bowl combines basmati rice and alloco.
- Sandwiches: braised chicken sandwich, chicken wrap or cheeseburger at 40 DH.
- Salads: Caesar or Le Petit Braisé at 59 DH, chicken tartare at 49 DH.
There are even a few pizzas, from 35 to 39 DH. Handy with kids.
The atmosphere
The dining room is modern and quiet. Wooden tables and green plants. You settle in for a quick lunch or a dinner with friends without breaking the bank.
Prefer to eat at home? Le Petit Braisé offers click & collect, ordering by WhatsApp and delivery via Glovo all over Marrakech. The new lepetitbraise.ma website also lets you see the menu, find the locations and order online. There's even a loyalty programme: 1 DH spent, 1 point.
Click & collect: how it works
The system is simple. You order online from your phone. You receive a QR code. You go to the restaurant and pick up your order without waiting. Payment is made on site, when you collect.
It's handy at lunchtime, when you don't have time to sit down. And in the evening, the restaurant stays open until midnight.
Our verdict
With this opening, Le Petit Braisé has four locations: three in Marrakech and one in the Paris region. The Chrifiya location is still new. It showed 5 out of 5 on Google at the end of July 2026, but from only 18 reviews. Time will tell.
For a first visit, keep it simple: half chicken, alloco and green sauce. You'll quickly understand why the brand has lasted since 2018.
